ABM Group provides integrated energy solutions with business synergies that are focused on three main business units, namely coal production, mining contractor, and energy related solutions. All three main business units are supported by two key enabling components, which are engineering and integrated logistics services.

ABM was established on June 1, 2006, under the name PT Adiratna Bani Makmur before changing its name to PT ABM Investama in 2009. In the same year, it acquired a number of companies engaged in energy-related activities. Subsequently, in 2011 ABM went public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, listing 550.6 million shares under ticker code ABMM; and in 2013, ABM officially became an operational holding company with the approval of shareholders, giving ABM flexibility in sourcing revenue to independently fund its operational expenses.

ABM presently owns a majority interest in the following companies, with locations all over Indonesia and over 8,000 employees :

• PT Reswara Minergi Hartama (Reswara), a coal production company.

• PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (SSB), an engineering services company;

• PT Cipta Kridatama (CK), a mining contractor company;

• PT Cipta Krida Bahari (CKB Logistics), an integrated logistics company;

• PT Prima Wiguna Parama (PWP).

To support its business activities, Sewatama has several subsidiaries to complement the products and services it offers and synergizes with other group members to operate the business in an effective and integrated manner. Sewatama's operational activities cover the entire territory of Indonesia, where its projects are spread across the archipelago. In addition to its head office in Cilandak, Jakarta, Sewatama also has 3 depots/representative offices with a total of 879 employees. Sewatama's current generating capacity is approximately 250 megawatts.  In addition, Sewatama also manages (Operation & Maintenance) power plants owned by other parties amounting to approximately 350 megawatts, in addition to managing energy-related assets owned by customers in the mining and other fields. Industries served by Sewatama include power, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, construction, retail, government, and industrial estates.

Reswara has attend in managing the final product of  thermal coal mine with low ash and sulfur content which hold international standards by meeting the requirements as "Compliant Coal", and it is also used in coal blending; 

Coal products that are marketed by Reswara hold international standards and sold in domestic and global markets, such as India, China and other countries in Southeast Asia. In addition, Reswara is also actively seeking to obtain new mines in the effort to continue to add and increase its coal reserves.

CK offers comprehensive services in  solutions in mining and project management, from surveying and exploration, mine modeling and design, drilling, earthmoving and to coal transportation. All construction activities carried out by CK are supported by the best equipments from PT Trakindo Utama which is ABM’s Sister company as a supplier and distributor for the Caterpillar equipment in Indonesia.

The Company's track is started from 1997 as a provider of logistic services. Now, CKB Group provides supply chain solutions for logistics and distribution services for various industries, such as oil and gas and mining. CKB holds licenses from the Government of Indonesia as a Bonded Logistics Management (PLB) operator and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certification from the World Customs Organization. Not only in Indonesia, CKB Logistics also has a global network spread across 40 Strategic Global Partners in 7 regions.

Products and services produced by SSB have the excellence in transportation, mining support tools and equipment, logistics,  and material handling which include remanufacturing and refurbishing of products, equipment and components for mining and oil  and gas industry activities.

The presence of PWP is a reliable solution to the demand for fuel supply for mining operations in a sustainable manner which can run 24 hours a day and seven days a week. PWP which known on the market as Parama Energi is strongly committed in delivering reliable fuel supply for miners and supporting them as long-term partners. The high quality fuel products produced by PWP will increase engine performance which also has an impact on the productivity result. Moreover, PWP also offers fuel products at competitive prices by understanding current market conditions and demands.

As part of ABM's integrated mining solution, PWP currently supplies fuel, i.e. to six mining locations where PT Cipta Kridatama operations, for the marine and logistics industry by PT Baruna Dirga Darma, and PT Cipta Krida Bahari. Until the end of 2019, PWP has sold 116.05 million liters of diesel fuel, which are spread across 18 locations in 7 provinces.
